1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to translation services supplied by Bolgsvenia Global unless different terms are expressly agreed in writing.
Bolgsvenia Global is the trading name of Carlos Irias Romero, a sole trader established in the United Kingdom.
Business correspondence and service address:
Lytchett House
13 Freeland Park
Wareham Road
Poole
Dorset
BH16 6FA
United Kingdom
Email: bolgsvenia.global@bolgsvenia.com
More business information is available on the Legal Information page.
2. Requests for Quotes and Formation of a Contract
Sending an enquiry, completing the website contact form or sending a document for review does not by itself create a contract or an obligation to pay.
Bolgsvenia Global will normally review the material and provide a quotation or other written confirmation setting out the service, price, expected delivery time and any important requirements.
A contract is formed when the customer accepts the quotation and Bolgsvenia Global confirms acceptance of the assignment, subject to any required advance payment or deposit stated in the quotation.
If a quotation states a validity period, it must be accepted within that period. If the source material, instructions, deadline or requirements change before acceptance, a revised quotation may be required.
3. Translation Services and Scope
The agreed service will be based on the source material and instructions supplied by the customer, including the language direction, intended use, required format, deadline and any certification requirements.
Bolgsvenia Global currently provides Spanish ↔ English translation services within the areas of work accepted by the business.
Bolgsvenia Global provides translation services only and does not provide legal, immigration, tax or other regulated professional advice.
Bolgsvenia Global may decline work that falls outside its competence, availability or the services it is able to provide.
4. Certification and Official Use
Where appropriate, Bolgsvenia Global may provide a translator certification statement for a translation intended for use in the United Kingdom.
Requirements differ between organisations, authorities and countries. Customers should tell Bolgsvenia Global where the translation will be used and provide any specific requirements issued by the receiving organisation before the work begins.
Acceptance of a particular form of translation or certification is ultimately determined by the receiving organisation or authority. Bolgsvenia Global cannot guarantee acceptance where requirements were not disclosed or where the receiving organisation applies different requirements.
Bolgsvenia Global is not a Spanish sworn translator. Where a document specifically requires a sworn translation for Spain, the final sworn translation must be completed or certified by an authorised Traductor Jurado or Traductor-Intérprete Jurado in accordance with the applicable requirements.
5. Prices and Payment
The public standard translation rate is currently £0.08 per source word, with a minimum translation charge of £35.
Translation certification statements are currently available from £40 where appropriate. Complex, poorly legible, handwritten, specially formatted or urgent work may be quoted individually.
The final quotation supplied for an assignment takes priority over general website pricing. Any additional charge will be explained and agreed before the additional work is carried out.
The quotation or invoice will state the total price, any applicable taxes or agreed additional charges, the payment method and when payment is due.
Bolgsvenia Global may require full payment or a deposit before work begins, particularly for new customers or larger assignments. Where advance payment is required, this will be stated before the customer accepts the service.
6. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing source material that is as complete, accurate and legible as reasonably possible and for giving all relevant instructions before work begins.
The customer should identify the intended country, organisation or authority receiving the translation and disclose any deadline, formatting, certification or other special requirement.
The customer confirms that they are entitled to provide the documents, information and instructions supplied to Bolgsvenia Global for the requested purpose.
Bolgsvenia Global is not responsible for errors caused solely by incorrect, incomplete, illegible or misleading source material or instructions where those problems could not reasonably have been identified.
7. Delivery and Deadlines
Completed translations are normally delivered electronically by email, unless another method has been agreed.
An estimated or agreed delivery date will normally be confirmed before work begins. A deadline will be treated as fixed where Bolgsvenia Global expressly confirms it as such.
If circumstances arise that may materially delay delivery, Bolgsvenia Global will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible and will take reasonable steps to minimise the delay.
Nothing in these terms removes any statutory rights a consumer may have in relation to the performance or timing of a service.
8. Changes, Revisions and Corrections
If the customer changes the source document, instructions, scope, format, deadline or other material requirements after the assignment has been accepted, Bolgsvenia Global may provide a revised price and delivery time before carrying out the additional work.
If a translation contains an error attributable to Bolgsvenia Global, the error will be corrected without an additional translation charge. Customers are encouraged to report any suspected error promptly and provide enough information for it to be reviewed.
Changes based on new source material, new instructions, personal stylistic preferences or requirements that were not originally agreed may be treated as additional work rather than a correction.
Nothing in this section limits a consumer's statutory rights where the service has not been supplied with reasonable care and skill or as agreed.
9. Consumer Cancellation Rights
This section applies where the customer is a consumer and the service contract is made at a distance, for example by email or online. It does not normally apply to a customer purchasing the service wholly for business purposes.
A consumer will normally have the right to cancel the service contract without giving a reason during a period of 14 days beginning on the day after the contract is made.
To cancel, the consumer must tell Bolgsvenia Global clearly that they wish to cancel. This can be done by email to bolgsvenia.global@bolgsvenia.com or by using the model cancellation form at the end of these terms. The model form is optional.
If a valid cancellation is made before any work has started, any payment that must be refunded will be refunded without undue delay and within the period required by law.
Starting Work During the 14-Day Cancellation Period
Translation assignments often need to begin before the 14-day cancellation period has ended. Bolgsvenia Global will only begin providing the service during that period where the consumer expressly asks for work to begin early.
If the consumer expressly requests an early start and then cancels before the service has been fully completed, the consumer may be required to pay a reasonable proportion of the agreed price for the service already supplied up to the time of cancellation.
Where the service is fully performed during the cancellation period after the consumer has expressly requested that performance begin and has acknowledged that the right to cancel will be lost once the service has been fully performed, the statutory cancellation right will end when the service has been fully completed.
Bolgsvenia Global will obtain the relevant express request and acknowledgement before relying on these provisions.
10. Other Cancellations
If a customer does not have a statutory right to cancel, or if the statutory cancellation period has ended, the customer should contact Bolgsvenia Global as soon as possible if they wish to stop an assignment.
Any amount payable will take account of work reasonably completed and any reasonable non-recoverable costs incurred before cancellation. Bolgsvenia Global will not impose a disproportionate cancellation penalty.
Where no work has been carried out and no non-recoverable cost has been incurred, any refund due will be considered accordingly.
11. Confidentiality and Personal Data
Customer documents and information are handled confidentially and are used for the purposes of providing quotations, translation services and related business administration.
Where reasonably necessary for an agreed service, information may be shared with an authorised collaborator, professional reviewer, agency or authorised sworn translator subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection arrangements and the information provided to the customer.
Further information about collection, use, sharing, security and retention of personal information is set out in the Privacy & Confidentiality Notice.
12. Standard of Service and Responsibility
Bolgsvenia Global will provide services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with the service description and instructions that have been agreed with the customer.
Bolgsvenia Global is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of its breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. It is not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances for which Bolgsvenia Global is not at fault, such as undisclosed requirements or inaccurate source information supplied by the customer.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
13. Events Outside Reasonable Control
If an event outside Bolgsvenia Global's reasonable control prevents or materially delays performance, the customer will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and reasonable steps will be taken to reduce the impact.
If such a delay becomes substantial and the service has not been supplied, the customer may contact Bolgsvenia Global to discuss cancellation and any appropriate refund for the part of the service not provided.
14. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact Bolgsvenia Global as soon as possible and explain the issue clearly.
Complaints can be sent to: bolgsvenia.global@bolgsvenia.com
Bolgsvenia Global will aim to acknowledge a complaint within five working days and to provide a substantive response within 14 days where reasonably possible. If more time is required, the customer will be informed.
These arrangements do not affect any statutory rights or other remedies available to the customer.
15. Governing Law
These terms and contracts with Bolgsvenia Global are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If the customer is a consumer resident outside England and Wales, this provision does not remove any mandatory consumer protection or jurisdictional rights that apply under the law applicable to that consumer.
16. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time for future assignments. The version applicable to an assignment is the version provided or made available when that contract is agreed, unless a later change is expressly agreed by both parties.
Last updated: 27 August 2026.
17. Model Cancellation Form
Consumers may use this form to cancel a contract where a statutory cancellation right applies, but use of this form is not compulsory.
